Stacy and Joe Thomas have a heart yearning to help the local people in Shippensburg and Newburg area through a non-profit Open Music Church Jam and a Saturday Night Open Music Jam of Bluegrass, Old Country and Gospel. A small group shares the same heart yearning too.  We are asking for your kindness to be a part of this.

 

We are going to call the non-profit Open Music Church Jam and a Saturday Night Open Music Jam The Local Gathering Church of the Nazarene. It is a place Where Faith and Friends Collide with Love, Helping People be People with Coffee and Conversation... Helping Families be Families with Love and Compassion. The Local Gathering is a non-profit Open Music Church Jam and a Saturday Night Open Music Jam for the community to come together in a wonderful atmosphere of people; acoustic music; good coffee and conversation.

 

We are located on 4.5 acres of wonderful cut grass grounds at 611 Shippensburg Rd. Shippensburg PA 17257 (Rt. 696 North four miles from Shippensburg heading on the Newburg Rd; South Rt. 696 two miles from Newburg on the Shippensburg Rd). The area contains a pavilion for cookouts; and a 3,000 sq. ft. building. We have a fire ring for campfire fun with s’mores and mountain pies. The upstairs has been remodeled to look like a Coffeehouse. 

 

The Local Gathering will give the people a place to come and have community in a safe and warm environment.

 

The Open Music Church Jam and a Saturday Night Open Music Jam called The Local Gathering Church of the Nazarene Where Faith and Friends Collide with Love, Helping People be People with Coffee and Conversation…Helping Families be Families with Love and Compassion.
